Best of The 22mm Tanks
Posted by Steven on 27th Apr 2016
This is the best 22mm tank I've ever had and I thought the Griffin was good until I tried this Alpha 22mm tank by Ohmega. Once I learned how to wick it and fill it without leaking, this tank is simply amazing for its size. I put in 3.5mm dual 24G stainless steel coils at 0.2 ohms and the vape is awesome between 70 to 80 watts. If the BFT is too big for you, definitely get this one.

I like this RTA a lot, but if you can, or you need more space, get the 30mm
Best RTA used so far

A wonderful little tank. The coils that came with mine were far too large to fit in the deck, may have been a mix up. Overall great clouds for how small and the posts are amazing to work with.
I would compare the 30mm with the VCMT on cloud production and for half the price.
My first rta

It took me a couple of times to wick it right. Hits nice. I gave it a 4 because when you lay it on its side it leaks.

This one is up there with the MT-RTA! In constant rotation. Only two cons for me. The post screws and lack of extra glass.

So I know already that the 25/30mm VCMT and "The Tank" by Scottua are better... I get that, and they should be for the price...
But these Alpha Tanks (22 / 30mm) from Ohmega are Badass!
Price- $27 / $31
Sizes: 22 / 30mm (most relevant)
2 Colors: SS and Black (Electroplated not painted on)
Grub Screws on the Deck have Phillips Heads (Nice Touch)
Big Airflow, Big Juice Flow, Big Wicking Channels, Big Build Area
Positive Pin is Adjustable, but on both, screwed all the way in still protrudes plenty (safe for hybrid usage)
only real con I have is that it didn't come with Replacement Glass along with the Spares... eh no biggie I'd pay extra to get a replacement (though doesn't seem to be currently offered)
Subjective Cons: may be cons to some, but doesn't bother me
No Airflow Control, so its all the Airflow All the Time! ( I love it )
30mm has custom sized Drip tip, larger then standard 510 ( I don't currr)
1 piece top cap/ chimney / atomization chamber (doesn't bother me, wicking is easy to get right and at least it wont come apart ( Still butthurt at my Mutation tank)
Threads are a little rough, but have gotten a little smoother, to be expected...
I highly recomend these tanks for the Cloud Baller on a budget, if you love your dripper experience and want that in a tank, but can't justify spending 75-200 wingwangs then look no further
Move Over VCMT / MuTank

better performance / flavor / machining than the Mutation X RTA, comparable (Visually) to the 25mm VCMT at less than half the Price... AWESOME
One of the best RTA's

This is a really good RTA. Machine quality is good. The airflow is tremendous... keep in mind there is not adjustable airflow.. it's just wide open. For some that might be a con, but for the way I vape it's perfect. The velocity deck is great. It's using Phillips grub screws which is my only complaint on this tank as they are kinda cheap. I stripped one on my first build, but luckily it comes with 4 spare grub screws. It fits pretty big builds. I put a 22g titanium, 7 wrap, 3mm build in it and it fit with ease. This rta is definitely in my top 3 and I have them all. If you are thinking about getting this one, just get it. You won't be disappointed. I don't usually write reviews but this deserves it. Plus it's only 27 bones.
