  1. 30 watts, replaceable battery, nice mod. 4 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Jul 2015

Here is a nice 30 watt box mod, you don't have an integral battery, so you can either take the old battery out when it gets low and pop it into your charger, drop in a fresh battery screw on the end cap turn the iPV mini on and you are right back at where you left off. There is a micro USB port on the bottom of this device so you can attach a micro USB charging cable and charge the battery that way instead of removing and replacing the battery.
For the price, I would have expected a bit more but then again what you get ain't bad. There is an option to put this into mobile mode and with the optional charger you can charge your phone or other electronic device. This device also has a memory bank of sorts, you can set up to 5 separate wattage settings, which is a very nice option at least for me, this way I can have at least 3 separate attys and only carry the iPV mini, and maybe an extra battery.
I do think that this could have been a nice 50 watt device if Pioneer4You had chosen to do so. That said, there is a new iPV min 3 or what ever its called that is 70 watts. Too bad there wasn't an update that could be done online to boost this up to 40 or 50 watts. It is what it is, for 30 watts there is a lot of good about this device, there are also a lot of bad. Don't know if when this one dies weather or not I would get another. I like the design of this, very ergonomic fits the hand well, maybe the 70 watt version. Of course by the time this one dies Pioneer4You will have better options hope springs eternal. Thank you all for taking the time to read my review, much appreciated.
